Summary
One thing they never did was talk about boys. During their first year of university, Han had caught Steven sneaking someone out of their dorm room, and then Steven had spotted Han cozied up with a classmate at a coffee shop, and they both had felt just awkward enough to never mention either instance. Or any instance after that. None of their pursuits ever seemed to progress far beyond very brief courtships, and they didn’t ask, didn’t tell.
That was why, as the two of them quietly sat together, Steven didn’t talk about the boy with teases on the tip of his tongue, and Han didn’t talk about the boy with music running through his veins.
OR: Steven likes JL. Han likes JL. They also like each other, even if they haven't quite figured it out yet. JL just finds the whole thing kind of funny.

Summary
On a rare Chuseok night off, Steven joins JL for drinks with other rookie idols. What starts as harmless fun turns into a rain-drenched dash back to Steven’s condo instead of the dorm. Alone, the tension they’ve been denying for months finally breaks. One kiss leads to honest confessions, and by the end of the night, they stop pretending their feelings aren’t real. Summary
You’re cute, Han does not say. Instead he just backs JL up against one of the pillars and kisses him. JL tastes like the wind, like the berries and seeds under their feet, his mouth open and pliant. Han presses closer, JL’s hair soft underneath his fingers where he has a hand curled around his nape.
They stay like that for some time, and Han’s reluctant to pull away but when he does—
It’s like, JL is so lovely, right? And while some part of Han wants to keep JL’s pretty smile to himself, he also knows that this is a stupid wish. It would be akin to trying to steal the blue out of the sky. JL’s smile is a natural resource, like sunlight and water, meant to be shared by everybody.
Right now JL is not smiling. Right now his eyes are dark and his mouth is red and he looks at Han like he wants more. And Han thinks, let this be mine. Let this version of JL be his and his alone.
[Han has always worked hard to be good at the things he cares about. He just hopes that JL doesn't mind his learning curve.]
