Then it hit him.
Ranboo.
The boy who’d given him an allium when they first met.
It made sense for his mark to be an allium.
Wait. Tommy stopped in his tracks as all the dots connected.
He and Ranboo were soulmates.

Summary
Hours could be minutes or days for all he knows. At first, it was fun. They had talked, laughed, joked. Made light of it, like they always did. Impulse and Mumbo had a deep conversation about Redstone. Grian started a small war that Pearl won. Scar made a bunch of pre-sales for whatever new set-up he would have in Season 9.
Now, Grian doesn’t think they would ever make it to Season 9. Maybe this was Season 9. Maybe Season 9 was the void, and was Pearl in his arm and Impulse and Mumbo in his hands.
Scar wasn’t here to claim his sales.

Summary
It was nice to get outside for a bit, even though he was overly aware each minute ticking past that he wasn’t properly utilizing. He was actually rather enjoying his walk to the portal, admiring the beautiful weather they were having. As he approached the portal he saw False, walking right next to him. He startled, not even hearing her approach before quickly smoothing over his reaction.
“Oh False you startled me, how’s it going?” He asked politely even though the thought of stopping to talk made his skin itch anxiously.
In the end it didn’t matter, False didn’t even look back at him as she passed, walking straight on towards her base.

Grian presumed his soul was actively leaving his body – providing him with just another last minute delusion to take him into the next life - until he heard music.
His tired delusions were a lot of things, but they were never music.
Grian blinked, once, twice, then a third time. Still, the shape on the horizon didn’t fade. The light didn’t fade. The music didn’t fade. This wasn’t the blurry shadow of what may or may not be a rock, or the light of the moon against a wave imitating a town. This was a genuine miracle. This was his relief.
