Summary

Pickles looked up at Nathan surly, not that the guy would actually notice. Wouldn’t even look him in the eye, that goddamn coward. He took a long, hard swig of his drink while he weighed his words.
“You should try blowing on it. Chicks love it when you blow on it.”

Izzy ignored it, focussing instead on finding whatever Edward had seen that got him so riled up.“Fuck me, that’s Sam Bellamy’s crew, isn’t it?”

It's been a few weeks since the Kraken's reign ended, but the relationship between Edward and Izzy remains completely fractured. When an old acquaintance shows up, Izzy is forced to decide between leaving the Revenge and trying to salvage what's left of them. Also featuring some ahistorical flashbacks, a Captain Stede Bonnet who is trying his best, and quite a bit of homoerotic sword fighting

The route towards the First church of Springfield was a familiar one to Seymour. He had been down it every Sunday since he was four years old, with the exception of his army time. In about seven minutes, he’d arrive. The urge to one-eighty the car was intense and grew stronger and stronger the closer he got. Seymour and Edna had had a… complicated relationship towards the end, but his position as her employer alone demanded his presence today. He’d simply go in, make sure people saw his face, drop off the flowers, condole the widower if he couldn’t avoid it and get out.
