Summary
“Aunt told me my name today,” he rasped, “said I needed to know for school.”
“Well,” Sim prompted tenderly, “what is it?”
“It’s Harry,” he cut out, cleared his throat, “Harry James Potter.” Silence, and then...
“Well, that complicates things a bit, doesn’t it?”~or~

Summary
Nagoya, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, is a multi-layered megacity sprawling across the Nōbi Plain like a Portuguese Man O' War. Soaring architecture and dangerous depths. It's grown so much in the last century that it's consumed the surrounding cities and towns, sinking its teeth into a decent chunk of Ise Bay.
Affectionately known as a wretched hive of scum and villainy, news coming out of the city is sparse, and as such, heroes are in short supply. Which is just the way the people there like it.
He's lived here for over half his life now, which, at 11, isn't a lot. But the time before feels hazy and distant, like the sky before pre-dawn, when the smog chokes out the stars and blankets the skyscrapers.
All he has left from before are a pair of rings tucked in his shirt, some scars, and a phone number that he uses to call Auntie once a month to let her know he's still alive.
