This whole spectacle might have started out with other intentions, but as the sickly tendrils of Elias’s own envy wraps tighter and tighter around him, as they snake their way up his calves and thighs and across his chest, nailing him to his chair, corrupting said scene and feeding his pathetically racing heart; Elias finds himself unable to stop. Not that he wants to, not at all. Because for some reason this seems like a fitting punishment for stealing what he wants, for taking the attention, the acknowledgement he deserves. Him alone. No one else.
Or: During one night, alone in his office, watching Jon through Jon's own eyes, Elias finds himself stricken with jealousy as well as unusually aroused. "Is it safe?"
