Summary
In the beginning, Chuck had a perfect plan.
In the beginning, Naomi expected to be an archangel.
In the beginning, another angel received that honor and set Naomi spiraling with envy and hate.
In the beginning, Castiel was born to two freedom-loving archangels, and that was the beginning of the end.
Now at the end of it all, Sam and Dean find out that angels are real and dicks (some exceptions included). God is a douche. Naomi is a controlling monster. And basically everyone is cool with ending the world, using them as their tools.
Sam, Dean, and Cas along with their slowly put-together pack decide not to follow the plan and make things up as they go.- Language:

While doing so, Sam decides to go to Dean’s room, searching for anything memorable to take with him. Inside the nightstand drawer, stuck between some magazines, he finds a letter addressed to Castiel.
