Summary
His job really was not as interesting as it sounded. There were no cool car chases, there were no shoot-outs, there was no tackling or carrying attractive people out of trouble, bridal style. There was mainly just a lot of waiting, and planning routes.
Jotaro hated being a bodyguard. His job was only worsened by the fact he didn't have much choice on who he was set up with for close quarter protection. He did not enjoy most of his clientele, that was for definite.
Except, maybe Jotaro likes being a bodyguard a little bit, especially when he's left doing twenty-four hour protection on the most intriguing man he has ever met. Kakyoin. Jotaro supposes he can stomach it for a couple weeks, just to uncover the mysteries of Noriaki Kakyoin.
After all, not very much happens in his line of work. Not in real life. Or so he thought.

Summary
His interest was piqued weeks ago, when Enya was still around. She’d been hopping around in a fervor, spitting and cursing over the coming invaders, whipping her hands back and forth in her frenzy. A photo spilled out of her sleeve, taken with Lord Dio’s abilities.
Kujo Jotaro.
A boy his age. A boy his age, and a threat to Lord Dio serious enough to send so many Stand users against him. Wasn’t that just something? It’s not impossible, obviously Kakyoin would know, but it was rare even before he destroyed nearly all of those users as the weeks wore on and his curiosity sharpened.
Technically, it’s D’Arby’s job to watch the entrance hall, but Kakyoin could go down a little early and help… The thought of wasting Jotaro to one of D’Arby’s puppets fills him with distaste.

It happens too fast for any of them to stop it. Jotaro's foot is stuck. Is grabbed.
Is yanked.
The back of his head hits marble with a sick noise, a literally-blinding pain that leaves him blinking stars from his eyes, and he's dragged away from his grandfather and his friends before they've even noticed he's no longer beside them.

Summary
They've been... Something... For the last couple weeks. There had been a night in their two-bed hotel room that neither of them could sleep, and somehow Kakyoin had migrated to sit on the edge of Jotaro's bed with him while they talked, and then there was a very impulsive, very stupid attempt at kissing.
Jotaro had been flushed redder than Kakyoin's ever seen, stuttering excuses for why he appreciates Kakyoin as a friend but Kakyoin would rather find a nice girl, right?
Kakyoin had, in the one suave move of his life, threaded his fingers into Jotaro's hair with a little more planned intent, and said, "I'm not interested in girls."

Jotaro felt the wind get knocked out of his chest and the color drain from his face. The shock from hearing those words was enough to shake his focus, and Star Platinum dissipated into the darkness of the alleyway, no longer supported by his user's thought.
No, actually, Jotaro wasn't thinking at all right now.
__________________________________On the run from an enemy stand user, Jotaro and Kakyoin are left with an unconventional solution to staying safe.
