While awaiting the end of the summer to return back to Night Raven College for a repeat of their first years, the First Years decide to join a singing competition hosted by the worlds most famous Popstar Powerline in order to take advantage of their rather generous payouts for being there.
They had wanted to go on a trip during the fall break to get away from craziness that is sure to come from going back to school. They don't expect to make it past the 3rd elimination challenge at best.
But hey...why are all these weirdos talking to them like they are actually competition??

Gemini Lehman had been enjoying her day off, hiking through the woods, bird watching, and sketching the view. She had plans for that week! Plans! Then that stupid tractor-beam or whatever sci-fi called them had to go and ruin her day! ... why was there a half-clipped bird in her cell? Were these guys animal abusers??

Venti was bored.
Now, anyone who has known him for more than five minutes knows that this is a very not good, very bad thing that happens. Because usually a Venti who is bored goes together with a Venti who is in the mood for drinking, which usually turns into a Venti who is drunk and chaotic and does some very stupid things.
