AKA: You absolutely cannot convince me that Danny, a detective of like, well over 10 years, bought ANYTHING Catherine said at the lookout, and he DEFINITELY would have had words for her before she left.
(This story isn't super kind to Catherine, but it's because the story is mostly Danny being angry that his friend is being hurt. Which, you know, fair. And the viewers know it was hard for Catherine, but Danny's priority is Steve, so it makes sense to me that he wouldn't feel sympathetic towards Cath.)
