Summary
What would have happened if Harry Potter had recognized the need for the DA in his first year rather than his fifth year? What began as a simple study group quickly becomes something more when the Second Wizarding War is kicked off by the events following the Triwizard Tournament.
Even as they fight to overcome old enemies and well-meaning but meddling headmasters, these students make powerful friends and unexpected alliances. They traverse the dangerous halls of Hogwarts and the world outside of them, aiming to defeat Voldemort and his followers while fighting for communal reform.
Join us to see how they work against the destruction wrought by the Dark Lord and create something new and enduring in the process...

Summary
An American funeral director crosses the road while thinking about coffee in 2016 and finds herself in London in the wrong century, with a messenger bag and absolutely no time to panic because panic has never solved anything.
Her grandfather always warned her about crossroads. She thought he was being metaphorical. Turns out he wasn't.
She has no plan, no papers, and no plausible explanation for anything she knows. What she does have is a mortician's calm that translates surprisingly well into wartime, a brain that won't stop cataloguing, and the unparalleled stubbornness of a woman who intends to survive whatever life throws at her.
Probably.
Warnings: Canon-typical violence & themes. Very slow burn. The author is not sorry.Bookmarked by Slowmovingcloud

Summary
After dying in the forbidden forest at Voldemort's hand--after going to the Kings Cross of his afterlife--Harry is returned to his 11-year-old self with no memories of his life before, just a vague sense of doom and weird knowledge of the wizarding world (and its inhabitants) that he can't quite explain. With only his ever-present sense of deja-vu to guide him into making better choices than last time, Harry embarks on a journey to save the wizarding world once again, and this time save himself as well.

Summary
He was wearing scrubs, just like you, but yours had paw prints on them and his didn’t. “Hi?” his mouth had quirked upwards at your confused response. He made himself comfortable as the gears of your mind turned, trying to figure out if you knew this guy and had been rude for the past three Tuesdays. He settled his elbows on the table before grabbing the menu from behind the napkin holder.
“What do you usually get here?” He’d asked, as though the two of you were old friends.
It’d shocked you enough that you sat up, spine touching the seatback for the first time since you’d sat down ten minutes ago, “Do we know each other?”
He’d glanced up from the menu, once again meeting your eyes, “No.” Back down to scan the menu, and then, in a softer voice, “But you have dried blood on your face,” your eyes widen at his words, “and I think it’s scaring a lot of the staff.”

Or a slow burn between Dr. Jack Abbot and the reader, who works as a veterinary technician down the street from PTMC.
