“We really can afford this?”
His answering chuckle was warm on the back of her neck when he wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling into her throat.
“Yes.”
She relaxed back into his embrace with a happy sigh, letting her eyes close and her head tip back against him while he peppered her throat with kisses. Her pack slipped from her hand, falling to the carpeted floor with a low thud, and she heard Ifan’s join it. She held his arms to her body with her own, content to let him tease her with feather-light brushes of his lips. A soft hum of pleasure escaped her when he nipped at the base of her neck, then sucked gently over where his teeth had lightly marked her skin.
“Do you want to see the bed?”
