Summary
Back in the leader seat after 3 years of imprisonment Shiro struggles to maintain his focus pursuing the end of the Galra empire while fighting a war with himself. He is the alpha, the leader, but he doesn’t feel that way any longer. He had prayed that Keith would be able to pull him back from the brink, but his mate is distant, hostile even. They have both suffered but they’ll suffer more if they don’t mend their bond. It’s a solution that sounds easy in theory, but not so much so when Shiro realizes his mate has picked up some unsavory past times in his absence.

Jack leans closer still, until his breath gazes Rhys' cheek, humid and hot. “Let me help you with that, Rhysie.” Jack's hands grab his ass, and Rhys can't quite deny the squeak that escapes his mouth. Fingers slip underneath the last piece of clothing covering him, and he inhales shakily, hiding his face in the crook of Jack's neck, seeking a respite.
But of course Jack turns removing Rhys' last line of defence into a lingering caress, his fingernails trailing down Rhys' skin while he drags the shorts down Rhys' hips, almost making a ceremony out of it.

Summary
AU: Rhys grew up on Pandora and is a con artist/honeytrap that works with Fiona and Sasha. When the chance to get some payback against Hyperion arises, they shuttle Rhys off to lie and charm his way into the Helios space station. He soon finds life on Helios is just as dangerous as life on Pandora.
It has the potential to be the biggest score of their lives if they can keep Rhys alive. But things go awry when Rhys accidentally catches Handsome Jack's attention.
What was supposed to be some profitable minor grifting quickly gets out of control, involving the Pandoran resistance forces and the sort of secrets that are too big to sell.

Summary
It wasn't that Rhys had anything against being an omega. He didn't have any self-loathing or resentment for how he presented. It was just easier with the suppressants, especially when you had his ambitions.
Unfortunately, after sort of accidentally-on-purpose using them for years, Rhys finds himself very ill and having to quit his suppressants for his health's sake. Suddenly, he has to figure out how this whole omega thing works.
