Summary
La cafetería de Alastor, Smile, My Deer, no es como las demás. De hecho, no se parece a ninguna cafetería de especialidad que Lucifer haya visitado antes.
La vida de Lucifer se resume en tres cosas: trabajar, cuidar de su hija una semana sí y una semana no y sobrevivir a base de café. O de cualquier bebida energética. A él, en realidad, lo que más le gusta es el matcha latte.
La vida de Alastor se resume en tres cosas: regar las plantas de su cafetería, sonreír a sus clientes y hacer desaparecer a sus clientes cuando le piden algo que no considera apropiado. Como el matcha latte, que odia.
A Lucifer, sin embargo, no es capaz de hacerlo desaparecer. Ni de su cafetería ni de su vida. Porque no quiere, quizá. Porque le ha llamado mucho la atención ese patético arquitecto que se desvive por su hija y viene cada día a desayunar a su cafetería. Pero eso no quiere decir que no vaya a convertirlo en un problema para todos los que le rodean.
En especial, por supuesto, para el propio Lucifer.

“Ha! Of course anything I say would have some worth, my friend.” Alastor tapped the head of his cane against his palm, sparing another glance to the now dead TV set. “But I truly don’t care what such a low brow television personality has to say about anything!”
Husk took another sip of his drink. The beer tasted more bitter than usual. “That why you didn’t mess with the cameras today?”
And why you let him see you whenever you can?
Husk yearns for Alastor's attention—but the feeling is overwhelmingly mutual.
