The problem is Sonic’s “solution” is about replacing one binding contract with another, thus leading the two of them to end up married, which would already be draining on its own. Summary
It's been ten years since the planet has been reduced to a arid, rugged wasteland, a place where camaraderie is rare and necessary for survival.
When Sonic, a notoriously wily troublemaker in the eyes of the "law", finds himself shackled to Shadow, a militant science project with a nasty temper, he must decide if forming an unlikely alliance with him is worth his freedom. The two find a lot of unlikely truths together as they go on a hunt for the mythical Chaos Emeralds- a set of precious gems said to grant a wish if you collect all seven.
With a menagerie of bloodthirsty, desperate enemies on their tails, will they be the first to collect the emeralds, or will the gems fall into the wrong paws first?
