Summary
Nicholas D. Wolfwood was a man terrified of the prospect of God. A man built around sand and blood and punishment.
Vash the Stampede was a whirlwind of a being, one that swept you up and spit you out of the other side either for better or worse.
They collided like two planets, both carrying their own gravity that sucked one another in.
A being of light, and a man made from darkness.
Would the fuse fizzle out before it exploded, or would they have to try to navigate the aftermath?

Summary
Vash likes to pretend that the only reason he’s so excited for each new class is because of his newfound appreciation for the arts. Even then, when he’s actually sitting in the basement of the media center, it’s hard not to get excited for the end of lecture. Vash fears he has gotten a reputation for fleeing the arts building as quickly as he can once the professor dismisses them. He may or may not have accidentally bowled over a few of his classmates in his haste. Maybe even a few times. But he’s got a great excuse! He swears!
Like every other Tuesday and Thursday, from when his class lets out at 1pm until his next lecture block starts at 2, said excuse can be found hiding in the smoker’s area behind the arts building.

“Since when the hell did you have a 𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘬?” Wolfwood demands, feeling a bit crazy as Vash ducks his head and tries to hide his face by turning it to stare at the wall. “Is that seriously what that is? Are you 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥?”
“This is from earlier!” Vash swore back, face as red as his coat, neck bent and nearly nose-to-nose. “Give me a break, I’m not used to this!”
“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯?”

Wolfwood learns some things about himself. And then some things about Vash. They learn together - one could almost call it romantic.

Nick shook his head slowly from side to side, getting his anger under control and channeling it into something more productive.
Vash stayed silent as he mulled Nick’s words in his mind.
“Okay. Just don’t laugh at me.”
