As for Vash… she could appreciate him not as a mystery that needed to be unraveled, but as a complicated man with a fascinating number of quirks that made life that much more interesting. As a friend, maybe.
Which didn’t mean she’d stopped keeping notes on all his weirdness (some habits were hard to kick) but she started writing observations for the other two as well, which meant it was a totally fair and not at all obsessive thing to do. -

It really shouldn't surprise her, but Meryl will admit, out of all of her discoveries about the eternal enigma of Vash the Stampede, the one that really throws her for a loop is the revelation that, in bedroom matters, he's exceedingly confident.
But the other thing she discovers about Vash is that under no circumstances does he want anyone returning the favor.

Summary
When Vash woke, it was with someone else cradled in his arms. That wasn't unheard of. It happened, sometimes, with the drinking.
So he supposed this was another of those mornings – that he would extract himself from bed as carefully as possible so as not to wake his partner, collect his things, leave them a glass of water and a note, and make his way back to his own room to go through his usual workout. Maybe find himself some breakfast before he met up with Wolfwood. Normal stuff.
Except when he opened his eyes to take in his surroundings and plot his escape, he was hit by one terrible, unconscionable revelation.
The person in his arms was Meryl.

Miracle on Gunsmoke! When the beloved angel Vash the Stampede visits the poor and downtrodden, hope follows in his wake. His mission may save humanity or destroy it, but only one thing is certain: that he's the most obnoxious brother of all time.
Meanwhile, travelling physician Millions Knives just wants to atone for his past by saving lives and taking care of his brother once and for all. Life would be a lot easier if he could just kill off the female reporters and bratty priest dragging him around, but apparently murder was bad or something. It's going to be a long road to July.
