But he chose instead to build a family.

And so, the story began.

“Do you smell that?”
“What?” He replied.
“Can you not smell it? The scent of milk.”
“Where?”His mother sniffed the air, slowly walking towards the omega. As she came closer to Jimin, the scent intensified. Suddenly, she encroached upon Jimin's personal space by diving into his neck, making him shriek in surprise.
“Eomma, what are you doing?!”
His Eomma was dead silent, which scared Jimin. He heard her murmur something under her breath.
“What? I couldn't hear you”, he said.

Summary
Five years ago, Yoongi left again—Seoul, distance, silence—believing that walking away was the only way not to cross a line he’d already blurred. Jimin stayed behind with everything unsaid, learning how to live with the absence of the one person who had always felt like home.
When they see each other again, nothing is resolved. The tension is still there, coiled tight between stolen glances and careful distance. Jimin is no longer the boy Yoongi remembers. Yoongi is no longer someone Jimin can pretend he doesn’t want.
Years and years of restraint doesn’t erase what they were—it sharpens it.
Because some loves don’t fade with time.
They wait.
