Summary
It would be easy to kill Moiraine now. Unsuspecting and vulnerable as she was. Drag her to Tel’aran’rhiod and cut her throat. Lanfear could do it so fast that Moiraine wouldn’t have time to force herself back out or send panic through the bond and have her warder run like a good boy to fetch a dream walker.
Such a pity Lanfear needed her.
Set after that battle in 3x08 where Moiraine gets impaled and then cuts Lanfear's throat.

Summary
“You expect me to bind myself to her?” The words escaped sharper than any blade she ever trained with, their edges ringing in the vaulted chamber.
The king did not flinch. He regarded her the way one examines a chess piece, important, yes, but still movable. “The alliance is necessary, Moiraine.”
“Must it be that woman?” she finally asked, the question colored with a crack of exhausted disbelief, almost petulant, as though she were asking why winter must come every year.
“She is a princess from a powerful kingdom, just as you are,” he shot back.
Or: Princess Moiraine Damodred, Heir to the Sun Throne, is arranged to marry Princess Lanfear of V’saine, a bold woman that loves chaos (and testing Moraine’s composure at every turn). What begins as a political alliance forged in cold necessity becomes a volatile game of pride, power, and unwilling fascination.Bookmarked by Spyffy

Summary
Moiraine had always seen the Great Serpent mark between her breasts as a curse – a symbol of inevitability chaining her to a soulmate she never asked for. It tore her from Siuan, the only woman she’d truly loved, binding her to a fate spun by the Wheel, not by choice. Seeking escape, she devoted herself to the Dragon Reborn – a mission she had chosen – convincing herself her soulmate was either dead or would never appear.
She was wrong.
Her soulmate wasn’t dead. She was Lanfear, Daughter of the Night. The mark Moiraine hated hadn’t just cursed her – it had led her straight to her nemesis.
Meanwhile, Lanfear, fixated on the resemblance between her own mark and the Dragon’s, convinced herself she was destined to be with him – pursuing a connection that was ultimately empty. What she never foresaw was that the unmistakable spark of a true soulmate bond wouldn’t come from the Dragon at all, but in the moment she was nearly decapitated by Moiraine Damodred, one of his advisors… And her actual soulmate.
