You find Molten Freddy hiding in a dumpster, him being the only survivor of the mysterious fire that had happened only a few months prior. Normally he would have ran away from any human before you would've even had the chance to speak to him, and he would have done the same with you, if it wasn't for the fact he couldn't.
Seeing him dilapidated and unstable, you knew you couldn't just leave him there.
