Bruce couldn’t let this happen.
After everything he’d done to craft his reputation as Gotham’s terrifying, unyielding Batman, it was slipping away in an instant. His kids had shattered the image he’d worked so hard to build, and now no one feared him anymore. He couldn’t let that stand.
Desperate to reclaim his fearsome persona, Bruce concocted a plan—one that would involve Wayne Manor, his children, and the most unsettling dinner party the Justice League would ever attend. He would make them see him as they once had: a force of darkness and intimidation, unchallenged and unshaken.
The plan was set. All Bruce needed was to execute it flawlessly.

As he got closer, Peter realized there seemed to be blood on his hands. He was wearing a stained and ripped purple suit, with garish clown makeup making him look a ghastly white. His yellow teeth were stained with blood, reflecting off the dim light as stumbled down the alleyway. He was getting closer, and Peter made a split second decision.
