Summary
Gaara is usually content with the role he plays in Naruto's life, but when Sasuke breaks his heart once again, he is unable to cope with it.
He wants so badly to give himself up to Naruto completely, and give him all the love he deserves, even when he knows he can never be Sasuke. He would do anything for Naruto to be happy, anything to soothe the hurt he feels in his chest.
Maybe that makes him selfish.
