Summary
Drip drip drop, the water goes, a soft tune trying to quell his raging mind. It fails.
The hair on the back of his neck raises, metaphorical hackles following as his exhaustion miraculously evaporates from the familiar feeling burning through his skin. His green eyes immediately catch the source, too panicked to properly mask his staring as he catches a glimpse.
A newsboy's cap glares at him beyond the threshold of the shop, waiting, stalking, stalling. He watches, and it watches back. It feels like an eternity, his gaze unable to move from the offending object slightly obscured by the water droplets clogging the window's glass. The eternity ends too soon, a pale hand moving to adjust it before turning to disappear. He watches as long as he could, the visage fading too quickly for his liking from his immediate vision. The rain was too perfect, covering the other's tracks.
Yuno realized, quite swiftly, that he hates that hat.
Or: What happens when I look at canonical events, say "that's cute," and overhaul everything.

Life is fickle when you've lived it a hundred or so times. Yet, this may be the life they were waiting for.
When Onimaru Nukumi is born, things change and don't at the same time.
"I want you to promise me something, Nukumi." Her mother requests, tone more of a demand than the gentle way a mother should address their daughter.
Uncaring of her treatment, Nukumi nods. "Anything, Hahaue."
The woman smiles a disgusting thing, wide and uncanny. "Good, child-" She praises, patting her head in what was meant to be an endearing manner, except for the dull pain that blossoms from the point of contact. "-You will protect Yuuji. Any harm to befall him is a fault on your part."

Dreams are meant to be an escape, a dive from reality as one succumbs to their own imagination. They are meant to distract from the harsh reality of life. An encouragement to keep going if only to get a glimpse of those dreams possibly coming true in the real world.

Summary
Betrayal was an old friend of his. Near constant in his maturing years that it became easy to identify. An old, fated enemy that he was to face throughout life, no matter the situation. Young, bright-eyed, innocent Midoriya Izuku would never be able to imagine the way his life would go after he didn't manifest his quirk. He was exactly like all the kids his age, awaiting an ability to put him above average and secure his place among hero-aspiring hopefuls. Yet, that was never meant to be.
Rewrite of my story "As You Wish"; a different outcome and, in my opinion, much better writing.

By means unable to be controlled, Nutmeg, Luna, and Tommy die, leaving three of the five kits injured and alone. They are taken into ThunderClan, given a foster mother, and everything turns out wonderful! Right?

Yuno knew who this "specific person" was, from the way Burns phrases things. What he didn't know, though, was this "individual." Rolling his neck, the Lieutenant inches closer ", And who is requesting assistance?"

Yuno always wondered what it would be like to see himself from other perspectives. He wondered if his assumptions about their thoughts were correct. Traitorously, he would wonder if Norman Bones hated him. Maybe that was why he was so motivated to get him in the end. And, when he came back, did that hatred disappear? Could Death hold a grudge?
or; I thought it would be nice to write some one-shots revolving around the TYTMIA series. Either separate POVs of certain scenes, or other, off-to-the-side scenes of background characters, giving further context to relationships or actions of certain characters.

Summary
Bundy not having a good time in the form of being kidnapped by a wannabe SK, then dumped.
Jeffrey never truly gave the time to consider how he'd prefer dying. Death was an old, wretched friend he didn't welcome, yet didn't outright deny. It is an inevitable outcome to all, no matter the age, race, or gender. Death doesn't discriminate, not in the person it chooses nor the way they end up dying. He's familiar with gruesome scenes covered in blood and other nose-stinging bodily fluids. The way a body looks hours to days to weeks to months after a death, found frozen in their last moments. Either found bloated and waiting to explode from maggots or awaiting someone to stumble upon a fly infested apartment and call the authorities. The stench has become as recognizable to him as his grandmother's baking from his childhood.

Summary
Yuno loved the way sunlight filtered through the windows of Davis Police Department. The dirty glass allowed few rays through its muck. But, when it did, the interior of the building shone. He adored the picture it created. A Gotham-esq painting that further explained the way Los Santos ran, even with the subtlety.

Summary
The rain poured tirelessly around the man as he trudged through the downpour. Unfortunate enough for him, he had found himself stuck in the middle of a large storm and hopelessly lost. This was the “perfect” (note the sarcasm) day to enter the city. Only a few weeks after finishing his college course, a couple days after a (still healing) surgery and being thrown into a thunderstorm the moment he lands in Los Santos. What the hell was his luck at times. Couldn’t he just be given some favor from whatever higher being there was? No? Well, fantastic!

The white-haired half-ghoul stares with impossibly sad eyes at the black-haired man. The artificial half-ghoul’s face was dark, cheek spattered with blood and arm still healing. She knew, then and there, that this wasn’t someone she knew anymore. This wasn’t Sasaki Haise. But that didn’t scare her. It didn’t have her reeling, or have her screaming at the new, changed man for taking away her small piece of sunshine.
