Summary
Scott Goldsmith wakes two centuries prior, broken out of his spell by a group of Vampire Hunters. He's feral and starving and lashes out, only to get detained and brought into their custody.
Given 2 options once they hear his side of things, die/stay locked up (not ideal) or serve them until he's "rehabilitated." He, unfortunately, picks option 2.

Summary
Drip drip drop, the water goes, a soft tune trying to quell his raging mind. It fails.
The hair on the back of his neck raises, metaphorical hackles following as his exhaustion miraculously evaporates from the familiar feeling burning through his skin. His green eyes immediately catch the source, too panicked to properly mask his staring as he catches a glimpse.
A newsboy's cap glares at him beyond the threshold of the shop, waiting, stalking, stalling. He watches, and it watches back. It feels like an eternity, his gaze unable to move from the offending object slightly obscured by the water droplets clogging the window's glass. The eternity ends too soon, a pale hand moving to adjust it before turning to disappear. He watches as long as he could, the visage fading too quickly for his liking from his immediate vision. The rain was too perfect, covering the other's tracks.
Yuno realized, quite swiftly, that he hates that hat.
Or: What happens when I look at canonical events, say "that's cute," and overhaul everything.

When Onimaru Nukumi is born, things change and don't at the same time.
"I want you to promise me something, Nukumi." Her mother requests, tone more of a demand than the gentle way a mother should address their daughter.
Uncaring of her treatment, Nukumi nods. "Anything, Hahaue."
The woman smiles a disgusting thing, wide and uncanny. "Good, child-" She praises, patting her head in what was meant to be an endearing manner, except for the dull pain that blossoms from the point of contact. "-You will protect Yuuji. Any harm to befall him is a fault on your part."

Summary
Petunia berated Harry Potter for being a freak, just like his mother. So when an incredibly tall fellow freak turned up to take him away, he was more than happy to go with them into a world of magic and mayhem.
Much to Dumbledore’s dismay, the tall freak in question wasn’t Hagrid, but Nora Bloodgood, the Headless Headmistress of Monster High. And when all Dumbledore’s efforts to find and rescue the missing saviour fail, he throws caution to the wind and throws Harry’s name in the Goblet of Fire.
The bigoted world of Wizarding Britain is not ready for a saviour raised by “creatures”.

Summary
Vampires are not simple undead - they are Unseelie, fae creatures born of humanity's darkest parts. But not all vampires are the same. The Turned - Vampires who were once fully human - are not true Fae. Dhampirs and Upyirs, however, are both true Fae and are thus bound by all law and magic of Faerie.
And so, Scott Goldsmith is not merely a vampire. He is a Dhampir - born half-human, half-Vampire, and all ancient evil. This suits him quite well - it's been over a thousand years since he's remembered what mortality was like. And then he awakens to a world changed, a coven lost, and new fledglings that call him friend. And just maybe...it's nice to feel truly loved, instead of feared.
But once Unseelie, always Unseelie...Right?
(If only these strange, annoying beacons hadn't been placed in a suspiciously perfect circle around his castle. Where had they come from, anyway?)

Scott is a confident but wary elder vampire, and doesn't know why this human sets him on edge. He really shouldn't, but he find's himself intrigued.
