Summary

Rae has been serving in the court of the End Kingdom for eight years, with no easy way out. So he keeps his head down, focusing on his research and avoiding court when he can. When a spy from the Overworld gets caught, something in him awakens. Slowly, he learns to trust this stranger, and he begins to think that maybe, just maybe, he can have a life outside these walls.
TLDR: Fable fantasy medieval au with magic, political struggles, lots of self-doubts, and questioning moralities.

Summary
The Hermits were given a task. Each person would start at a different spot on the map, and each person could navigate the terrain or build as they wished. There was only one goal: find the others. The rules were simple. Number 1: the Hermits could not communicate through text or chat of any form, but other use of their communicators was fair game. Number 2: Night could only be skipped if all other players were also in bed, but sleeping for the duration of the long night would also eliminate phantoms. And Number 3: they would start from square one. No tools. No armour. No blocks of any kind. But there was just one more little catch to their scenario. Each person would start in the location that was personally the most inconvenient for them.

As summer slowly dies around them, the fractured remnants of the Fable Society scramble to pick up the pieces of their lives amidst their shattered reality, now dealing with the aftermath of Enderian's presence in their world, and all that came to light along side it.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, in landscapes entirely unknown to the members of the Society, old friends and new allies forge ahead, and unknown threats fester just beyond the surface of reality, lying in wait to bubble over the edge of worlds unknown...

Authors note: This fic is currently being edited, and so there are a few discrepancies as I make my way through the chapters. Most notably, "Wickaster" is being changed to "Wychmouth", and I'm removing and changing certainly characters.
