Technically, Roronoa Kouga has been in love with Kuroashi Sanji first. He was the first to see and introduce himself to him when the blond man moved into this apartment complex two years ago.
Not his stupid, single and completely oblivious dad, who apparently has zero consideration for his teenage son's very real and deep and intense romantic feelings for their next door neighbor. Ritu island is a fruit and vegetable lovers’ paradise. It is known for having the best crops in all Grand Line. However, these past few months, the Marines have been controlling the trade, and prices have more than doubled.
Nothing too alarming in itself, except when the Straw Hat pirates land on the island and realize that the fruits and vegetables sold on Ritu are completely different from what’s sold elsewhere. Way less... appetizing.

Zeff, going home after a busy night at his restaurant, couldn’t help but take this boy and bring him as fast as possible at the nearest hospital when he saw the fear and the sadness in his eyes.
The boy’s big blue eyes stared at his saviour in astonishment, as if he couldn’t believe someone would take care of him. The chef also didn’t understand. He didn’t understand this sudden need; he had never really felt the need to take care of a child. But this one was different, he could feel it.
