Summary
Luo Binghe would not ordinarily try to apply to another Peak, no matter how poorly he is treated. His shidi being mistreated on the other hand. Oh, absolutely not. This cannot stand.
Time to find the Peak with the best conditions! Nothing else will do for his precious little friend.
(Spoiler alert: it's An Ding. Shang Qinghua is all about that workers comp, employee benefits, and mandatory break periods. He can be stressed out from working two jobs but his students? Hell nah. Not on his watch.)

Summary
For disciples, receiving the direct attention of a god is supposed to be a blessing, a sign of incomparable talent and a glorious future serving the Heavens. Though the burdens may be heavy, and expectations heavier, the rewards can only be that much sweeter.
Instead, Luo Binghe's years of torment under Shen Qingqiu are rewarded with the loss of everything he's ever known or hoped for. Revealed to be a half-demon during the proving ceremony that would have named him paladin, he finds himself forced to flee into the Endless Abyss: a barren wasteland, taboo even to demons, where all the world's greatest evils are said to be locked away.
What he meets is Shenyuan: God of the Abyss, imprisoned and abandoned in the ruins of his former nation. Great and terrible, a stroke of black ink boldly splashed across Heaven's perfect tapestry, a force of malice capable of overturning the earth and cracking the sky like glass, Shenyuan seizes him in vines and... heals all his wounds.
And suddenly, Luo Binghe has a new god.

Summary
Sixteen-year-old Luo Binghe was merely looking for a forest critter to amuse his master with when he discovers the baby, half-frozen in a basket by the river. Shen Qingqiu, who cannot conceive of denying his white lotus disciple anything, ends up accepting responsibility, and takes up single parenting as a side gig.
Thus begins the silent war between Shen Qingqiu, sleep-deprived and increasingly confused, and Luo Binghe, aspiring teen parent, looking to drop out of school to become the disciple who stepped up (...or not).
