“Hey, wolfie, everything’s gonna be okay. You could always find a partner to help solve your ‘problem’.” Yoko wiggled her eyebrows at Enid, making the blonde punch her in the arm lightly.
“Ow,” Yoko pouted, rubbing her arm. Seriously, what is she gonna do? It’s not like she could just ask anyone to help her with this. Well, she could ask one of the girls from the school pack, but she doesn’t like the thought of having to sleep with someone she barely even knows.
“You know I can’t do that, Yoko,” she sighed, “I can’t just ask anyone to do that.” Yoko rubbed her back as a comforting gesture and returned her gaze to Divina. She couldn’t help but notice a figure dressed in all black walking behind her girlfriend.
An idea sparked in her head, and she turned back to Enid with a smirk. “Hey, you said you can’t just ask anyone, right? Why not ask someone you know, for example, Wednesday?”

Down the sidewalk was a woman jogging, at first sight Wednesday’s breath halted in her lungs.
She was breathtakingly beautiful, even with sweat dripping down her forehead and dampening her t-shirt. She had light blonde hair with pink, purple, and blue streaks all throughout it, and it was tied up in a bun at the back of her head.
Wednesday couldn’t fully see her face from this distance, but Wednesday knew that the woman had beautiful blue eyes, bright enough to put the ocean to shame.
Wednesday thought she was dreaming, because that was the only place she had ever seen this woman before.
Those blue eyes, that blonde hair, burned into her brain. She would never forget it.
Wednesday had been plagued with dreams of the girl for years and years.
Countless nights, had Wednesday woken up with that girl's face on her mind, a name on the tip of her tongue, a name that she could never remember once daylight came.
The woman ran past the garden like it was so easy, as if the sight of her hadn’t left Wednesday spiraling and questioning reality.

This fic is no longer being updated. I have lost the motivation to write for it and would rather move on to other things. Sorry for any disappointment.
Preface
A few months ago, the idea of sacrificing myself for an immortal being would've sounded ridiculous to me. Immortal people can't die. What would be the point of letting myself fall?
And then I learned there are some conditions that even immorality can't overcome.
And now the idea of sacrificing myself for an immortal being didn't seem so absurd to me.
So here I lie, staring into the eyes of death as he approaches, his teeth bared and his eyes shining red in the moonlight. I should be afraid, but I wasn't. I had chosen this. I didn't have the right to be afraid, though if I did, I don't think I would be.
The alternative was to live without them.
That's the only thing that scares me now.
