Percy knew that Tarturus had changed them, both as individuals and as a couple. No one can live through something like they did in Tartarus and not come out a different person. However, Percy had thought that they had gotten back to a place of familiarity. He knows that he had scared Annabeth in Tartarus, but he thought, no, he hoped, she was regaining her trust in him. Annabeth is right, though. Some part of him enjoyed seeing Akyhls suffering.Series
