Summary
Garreg Mach University was originally a monastery, designed to be a palace of religious education, along with military training, for the prominent families of Fodlan and other surrounding nations. About a century ago, it was changed to a full university, allowing people regardless of social standing to join. It was still a popular place for those with wealth to attend though, made obvious by the lavishness of the campus. The cream of the crop had dorms in the monastery, while the rest live in dorms that were built more recently around the base of the castle. Very few classes actually happen in the main building anymore, with it now filling the role of cathedral, dining hall, and library; along with offices for the top university professors and administrators.

I pause, before answering honestly, “Call me Ariadne.”
“Ariadne.” He repeats. My name is lovely on his tongue; tenor and smooth sounding. Its importance goes up just by him speaking it. “A high value name for a high value lady.”
“Careful there,” I rebuke, but a small smile still graces my face, “I have not had enough drink to be that easily courted.”
“Then for my sake, have more.”

When Ariadne had taken Perseus up on his plan to escape Crete in exchange for getting him out of the minotaur den alive, she shouldn't have been surprised when his Athenian ass betrayed her. Nos stuck on an island and unable to revel her identity for safety, she works on rebuilding her life. It's what fate has in store for her, that surprises her the most.

Her mother, before she died, would often tell Soirche of the dangerous Each-Uisge that dwelled in the water. Her seanamhair would say the same thing as well. ‘Thoir an aire, Soirche. Thoir an aire.’ Having been raised by cautious folk has made her cautious too. She knows not to approach the sound of music coming from the woods at night, she knows not to offer up your name to strangers, she knows not to go where man is not invited. But caution did not stop adventure, and she would frequently go out into the world to see its beauty up close.

Summary
Turns out dear old mom and dad had made a deal a while back with a fae in exchange for something. They didn’t bother telling me what it was and I don’t care to ask. Learning my entire existence as merely a form of currency did not exactly get me into a curious mood. I do know that on my 18th birthday the creditor would show up to claim their prize.
That birthday is tomorrow.
I clutch the mark on my wrist.

Summary
She almost misses it as the light goes over, but the black tip of the tail alerts her to its presence. There, lying on its side, partially hidden in the grass and snow, is a fox. From her distance, she can't see if it’s breathing, but can tell it's a rather large thing. Having learned not to bother wildlife, Amanda starts by whispering at the creature to try and wake it up. She waves her flashlight in front of it, and when that fails starts knocking on the pathway.
Nothing.
Sighing, she looks both ways for any person. And, when seeing none, step cautiously off the path.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Amanda, having to take a break after an injury from work as a firefighter, stumbles across a fox in the middle of a wildlife reserve. Taking it in for what she assumes is a short amount of time, she soon learns that it is important to be cautious when bringing wild animals into your home.

Summary
Day 2 of combining Kinktober with monster loving. Todays prompt, as you could guess, is macro/micro and I went with a nature guardian. It's a bit of a made up creature that is inspired by nature spirits from all over the world; The closest would probably be a stone golem. This story is not likely to be culturally inappropriate, but still let me know. Also, any questions or comments are still welcome. I'll try to be quick to answer.

Summary
Day one of Kinktober prompts. I am a huge fan of supernatural/sci-fi works, and want to combine those elements with another favorite of mine ;). This is my first writing challenge I'm doing, so feel free to send feedback or ask any questions. I will try to get to them as soon as possible. I will try to leave a brief summary about the creatures in the stories. Some are well known, but I have a few that might need some background.
Also, Some of the creatures I write about are not from where I live and am just doing my best to do a little research and then write about them. If you are from where they are, or you know about them, please let me know if what I have written is bad. While I don't want to offend and just love writing about mythical legends of places I'm not from, I know that it's easy to make a mistake and would like to be corrected if need be. I will try to remember to put a note on the stories that you need to look out for.
