When Lee is asked to pose as Gaara’s significant other at a coronation in order to avert an assassination attempt, he readily agrees. He’ll do anything to protect Gaara. Even if he has to leave his weights at the door. Even if he has to face down the Wind Country diplomats who don’t consider him a shinobi because he can’t do ninjutsu. Summary
At first, Shinki almost thought this was a kidnapping attempt, the kind of thing Father warns him about in grave tones, an unavoidable risk of being the son of the Kazekage. He would have been nervous, if not for the way Father had hugged this man at the door, so tight it was almost fierce. Then he’d nodded at Shinki with a look that Shinki knew meant, Be polite and keep bloodshed to a minimum.
Or, Shinki doesn't know who his new babysitter is or why his father didn't bother to introduce them. At least he's getting a good training session out of it.
