If anyone had ever asked Zenitsu such a question, he would not hesitate to speak his own name. He hated himself practically more than anyone or anything in this world. How could he not when time and time again, he has done nothing but fail those he learned to love? Over and over, his eyes bore witness to the blood that spilled, his ears picking up the caws of the crows about the recently deceased. Zenitsu hated himself so much, but not even killing himself has fixed the dark clouds that haunted him.

Summary
There was something off about the merc. Nothing too bad, mind you! The guy was not only a decent company but also damn good at his job. But still, there was something off-putting in V's way of staring into emptiness when talked to and the violent coughing fits he quickly tried to hide when they passed. And the talking. Every once in a while he would be caught talking aloud. Small vulgarities like fuck you and just the name Johnny being the most common. And there was that one night he was seen acting like a total opposite of himself.
The people V meets throughout his guest trying to save himself and Johnny are worried about the merc and try to understand the weird things that seem to be a package deal with the guy. That's it. That's the fic.

With tears obscuring his vision he came upon the place Luffy vowed to be.
"LUFFY! I LIED! I WANNA GO HO-me?" He skid to a stop, hunched over and gasping for air.
When he finally straightened up, he felt the world around him stop.

The strawhats find themselves in yet another routine fight with some pirate group. Everything is pretty normal and routine, that is - until Sanji finds a little kid hiding behind some crates. One thing leads to another, and a small boy has found refuge on the Thousand Sunny. Though, for some reason, the boy finds himself latched onto Sanji, and no one else. The straw hats find an enjoyable, mother-duck attitude from the cook, but a bit of a jealous, and more-clingy-than-ever attitude from their swordsman.Hilarity Ensues! Fluff occurs! I LOVE THE STRAWHATS!!!
