    Alina never had time to play roles that were appropriate for her age. Always had to be wise, smart and quiet. Plan her life ahead, but always be ready for plan B. Way older than her peers, no time for games and dates, working ever since she was 15, still the top of her class: gold medal in the end of high school, top-10 result in all 4 of Ravka’s state exams. Long passed caring if her tired body could move after no more than 4 hours of sleep, pushing herself only forward. Way too much responsibilities for a 20-year-old. Not much time for feelings.

    Until her world starts crumbling with a crashing wave of Aleksander Morozov, who’ll make everything in his power to be her safe haven.
