Summary
How is he supposed to explain that he doesn’t like anyone getting close to Matthew? That the thought of Matthew going on a dinner date—smiling politely, laughing softly for someone else—makes something ugly twist in his chest?
Matthew follows his line of sight. He sighs, soft but tired. “Wook-ah… you know I don’t like him, right?”
“You can like him,” Gunwook says, too quickly. “None of my business.”
Even as his instincts jump, claws scraping uselessly at his ribs.
“Really?” Matthew’s scent sharpens, chamomile turning stronger, edged with something hurt.
Gunwook’s stomach drops.
He wants to take it back immediately. Apologise. Anything. He hates making Matthew upset, but pride and fear tangle in his throat, stubborn and unyielding.
“Just so you know,” Matthew continues, voice quieter now, “I don’t like him. My parents are friends with his parents. I was actually going to tell him not to aim for me, but since you don’t care, then maybe I—”
Gunwook doesn’t let him finish.

Well, fuck.
or; Company heir and office heartthrob Seok Matthew becomes the talk of the headquarters after he overlooks a critical error in his email. Swayed by the whims of his colleagues, Gunwook begrudgingly joins them as they attempt to solve the mystery floating around the workplace:
