They were too late. Just a few seconds too slow. And if Robin had just climbed the cliff better, been a few seconds faster, a fraction more coordinated, then she wouldn’t be covered in Nancy’s blood right now. Summary
In the supernatural world, Nancy Wheeler was something to be feared. Something to be whispered to little monsters and overzealous creatures as a nightmare around the corner. “Don’t get too out of line, or Nancy Wheeler will come and get you.”
The primal, wolfish part of Robin was terrified of Nancy. The human part of her - in its stupid, useless, pathetic lesbian fashion - also knew she was super fucking hot.

Summary
Aspiring journalist Nancy Wheeler and NYU film student Jonathon Byers decide to take the leap and move in together during the summer, going into Jonathon's sophomore year. The day they arrive, they meet the tenants of the apartment across the hall, Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington. Despite being the same age and connected due to their siblings and friends, Robin and Nancy take to a mutual dislike of each other. Or at least, a dislike Robin believes is mutual.
“That's nice,” Nancy said concretely, punctuating Robin’s sentence. As much as it annoyed her to absolutely no end, she appreciated having a real reason to dislike Nancy, instead of one of the twenty petty ones her brain had already been trying and failing to find the root of.
