    A thousand years ago Venti became well acquainted with one Adeptus Xiao before losing him like always. This time Celestia set up a spiritual barrier between him and Morax to keep them from their friendly rivalry over Xiao, and Venti is sure that Xiao must have died, either from succumbing to his karmic debt or other causes. And now in the more modern day, Liyue and Mondstadt are setting up a museum celebrating their shared legacy and it just so happens to be around the time the barrier is supposed to open.
