“When she realised she had feelings for her supervising officer, she removed herself from the situation because she knew those feelings were dangerous.” Coulson told them seriously, “She’s not like you, who was petty and jealous and bullied her into leaving the team.” he continued the anger and condemnation clear in his voice; she knew he had directed that statement at May.
There was a moment of silence before Ward spoke "Sir, I-"
But Coulson cut him off before he could finish speaking, “get out of my sight ” he declared.
Afraid to listen to another word, or worse, be found eaves dropping again, Skye grabbed her tablet and ran back to the briefing room.
After Skye learns that May and Ward were sleeping together, she decides to leave the team.
A year later after she has joined Isabel Hartly's team and Hunter is her new S.O, they are sent to rescue Ward, May and Fitz after their mission goes wrong.

"I need you to help me out here. You're my best man. Look, the wedding planner was supposed to provide us with personnel to do that, but for some reason they didn't show up… so I need you to do it." Barry looked a little flustered and sheepish, she had to give him that but still asking Ollie to make a fool out of himself in front of all the guests was a big request. Especially after last night.
