Summary
Obi-Wan entered his section of the facility, marked simply by a little black and white placard reading “Anakin” and underneath that “Researcher Kenobi’s supervision required for all personnel beyond observation room” in smaller text. He didn’t even look at the sign, just pressed his keycard against the lock and opened the door.
The room beyond was so dark that three of the walls were barely visible. Everything framed the fourth one, a massive pane of glass with water on the other side. Brightly-colored underwater flora decorated the bottom of the tank, nestled in amidst genuine ocean floor sand and rock. In one nearby corner, there were a handful of rocks that were different from the others, in the process of being chipped away at the way a sculptor might.
And, of course, in the middle of it all was Anakin.(Obi-Wan visits his mermaid research subject, Anakin, and gets a little more than he'd thought he would.)

It had started merely because moving through the core worlds with a pup was easier when one was legally related to that pup. The Order had refused to let Obi-Wan take Anakin Skywalker on as a Padawan, and, unwilling to allow his late Master’s dying wish go unfulfilled while his ashes were still settling on Naboo, Obi-Wan had cut his own braid and himself loose from the Order as well. He had taken Anakin with the promise that he would be cared for and trained, in their free time. And, after the first time they had been greeted with some suspicion by overzealous police droids citing some recent trafficking concerns, Obi-Wan bit the bullet and gotten official documentation that didn’t quite encompass the relationship Qui-Gon had envisioned for the two of them with his dying breaths.
And now, Anakin was sixteen—presented recently as an alpha—and Obi-Wan was still dealing with the same issue which had cropped up the moment his body decided for him that their familial relationship was not merely on paper.- Language:

Summary
Obi-Wan is hired as a nurse to care for the grandson of an old man on the outskirts of the city.
Realizing day by day that Anakin is hiding a big secret.
The omega begins to get uncomfortable with having all the alpha's attention on him, in addition to the disturbing dreams that began during his stay in that cabin.
Later, he realizes with horror that he cannot escape Anakin, especially since the alpha has chosen him as his mate for eternity.

Summary
Since Obi-Wan became a priest, he swore before the Force to care for and protect everyone, especially children.
That is why, on one of his many visits to the temple's nursery, he became fond of the newly arrived child to the point of going against the council and making him his Padawan.
Realizing nights later that Anakin was not actually a normal child but the monster that everyone warned him about.

"Only the other day, the Chancellor was telling me how he dearly wished to deepen the acquaintance between himself and your Master."
That's news to Anakin. "He's ... never said anything like that to me."
"Ah, well. No, he wouldn't. Not to you. That would hardly be appropriate. After all, most padawans would cringe at the prospect of someone regarding their Master with amorous intent, would they not? From what I've heard of it, the Chancellor's designs for your Master are not exactly fit for the ears of innocent young padawans. I assume that you take sugar in your tea, Anakin?"
Anakin says, dumbly, "Yes."
Then he pauses.
Then he squawks, "Wait — what?"
Dooku visits the Temple for the first time in decades in order to sort out his absurd lineage. He uses unconventional strategies by which to do so.
