As he looked through the photos of Lestat, he became increasingly interested in “matching” with him. There was a picture of Lestat in black and white, sitting on a chair, mile long legs spread as Lestat leaned forward, hands in his hair. Another one showed him at a grand piano, dressed in a burgundy suit, hair tied back with a black ribbon, and his divine profile on full display. But Louis’ favourite one showed Lestat laughing whilst looking at someone offscreen, his golden curls blowing in the wind, eyes bright with humour.

Lestat is utterly broke. And not in the genteel sense either. Armand takes action and signs Lestat up as a sugar baby.
Louis is an extremely wealthy entrepreneur from a powerful business dynasty. He isn’t interested in emotional attachment.

Lestat made to walk towards the door, but Louis caught his upper arm and pulled him backwards so that Lestat’s back was pressed to Louis’ chest. Lestat’s breathing sped up, the pulse in his throat jumping as Louis pressed a soft kiss to the delicate shell of his ear.
“I think you do want me to,” he whispered, trailing the hand that gripped his cigarette up the exposed skin between the low neckline of Lestat’s shirt. “I think you want me to get up inside of you, and you want to get all up inside of me.”

Summary
Louis took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say next. “What happened in that tower, Lestat?” When he didn’t speak nor turn around and walk out the door, slamming it behind him, Louis continued. “I need to know, when I brought Armand to you in that place, and I brought him up because I wanted to hurt you, how much did I hurt you?”
Lestat stared at him quietly, his eyes going wide for just a second before returning to normal. His face remained uncomfortably neutral when he eventually spoke. “Not much,” he said. “But a little.”
It was the way he sounded so perfectly calm that had Louis wanting to call bullshit.
