Summary
As Thrawn finalizes his recent mission with Admiral Ar'alani of the Chiss Ascendency's Defense Fleet, he soon realizes that something is amiss. That something is actually a someone; his former Lieutenant Commander and friend, Eli Vanto, who has not been seen since his last ordered task was completed.
As Thrawn's suspicion of foul play continues to grow, he must put his personal feelings on the back laser burner as he heads to Lothal to stamp out the latest rebel activity, led by Jedi Ezra Bridger. But with Eli missing, Thrawn's normally steadfast resolve is unraveling fast. He needs to find Eli, and time is of the essence; before Thrawn's worst fears for his friend become a reality.
Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger has a mission of his own. While Thrawn and his Seventh Fleet wage attacks on his home planet of Lothal, it's up to Ezra to follow the callings of the Force, and remove Thrawn from Lothal, and the galaxy, once and for all. However, what happens to Ezra afterwards isn't quite what he was expecting, either.Interwoven with the endings of the book Thrawn: Treason and Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Finale, then takes off it's own way.

Gimli had died. He was very sure of that. It had taken a good long while to be done with it, after all. Most dwarves don't live to see 300, and he was well past that. Then again, most dwarves don't grow old in the Undying Lands of the Elven Haven. But Gimli was named Elf-Friend by the Lady Galadriel, and she'd vouched for his passage. Not that his husband would've cared if she hadn't. Legolas had all but smuggled him in with unrepentant defiance.
Gimli had died. Then he'd woken up again. Not in the halls of Mahal as he expected, but rather in the halls of Ered Luin. Supposedly this was meant to be a gift of knowledge blessed upon the House of Durin. Personally Gimli thought it more likely a coincidence of timing that he happened to come back during all those silly ancient rituals. But you don't take a gifted diamond to a scale. It all seemed to work out well enough, anyway. This time around, Gimli will be going on the quest to reclaim Erebor. If all goes well, he'll even be able to save the line of Durin and reunite with his husband.
Needless to say... things do not go well.
This had been done already and done well. I'm not trying to write a masterpiece. Just want to have some fun with it.

Summary
The first thing Anakin did, when he opened his eyes and saw the unfamiliar ceiling, was to reach for his face. The mask was intact, concealing his identity. It didn’t have any form of Force suppressors devices on him, which means than, even unconscious, Anakin was able to keep cloaking his force signature.
“You are awake. I’m glad”. That voice. Although he didn’t turn, every cell in his body was tense. He knew that voice. Anakin could recognize it even with closed eyes, even after years apart. He had heard it, after all, every night in his sleep. It that moment, the brightness of his former master touched him. He was sure that if ever lost his mind, Obi-wan would remain. A ghost inside Anakin, ingrained in him so deeply that not even Anakin understood where he ended and Obi-wan began.
“Happy to finally capture me, General?” Voice modulator working. Small mercies. “I imagine they’re expecting us at Coruscant, right? Unfortunately, I have to decline. I don’t do bureaucracy.”
The laugh coming from the man outside was rich. So rich and unexpected, that Anakin felt himself trembling. He had missed him for years, and terribly so. But now he had fucked up spectacularly by being captured.
