Summary
Dick’s leaning over the edge of the couch, watching a tired Bruce stare lovingly down at the baby cradled in his arms. The baby’s swaddled in soft green blankets, probably procured by Alfred at some point or another.
It’s hard to believe that this is actually Damian- Damian, and his big, bright, brown eyes; his soft, baby hair; his pudgy cheeks and small fingers. Clear of a snarl and frown and, instead, reduced to soft babbles and the occasional giggle.
In his chest, Dick’s heart flutters. He feels his breath stop for all of a moment- God, this kid already has him wrapped around his finger.
“Can I hold him?”

Or, Damian gets de-aged.

Summary
It hits her, now, that she’s really about to do this. She’s about to burn her little brother to save his life. For a moment, her resolve waivers. Maybe she should let Jason do this.
“Steph,” says Jason. “You either do it now, or I do it.”
She swallows. “This is gonna suck,” she warns-
And then she presses the fire to her brother’s skin and her brother screams.

Or, an undercover mission goes completely wrong, leaving Steph and Jason to take care of Damian.

Summary
One night, while on patrol with Bruce, Damian gets hit by a spell. It splits him up into four different emotion clones.
Damian, red and angry. Lil' D, pink and full of childish innocence. Dami, blue and a tearful mess. Robin, green and an unknown variable.
It's up to Dick to take care of them, but at least he has the rest of their very big family watching his back along the way. (They're there, no matter what it is they have to face.)

Summary
"Damian? Is everything alright?" Bruce asks, brow burrowing in concern. To say Damian dislikes physical contact would be a lie, but he is not usually so outwardly seeking of it.
"Yes, Father." Damian nods. "I am simply practicing the act of hugging."
It takes Bruce a moment to absorb that, parse out the meaning from his child's very serious tone - but once he does, he chuckles, smiling down at Damian.

Damian stares at him. “You didn’t already?”
“Pardon?”
