This was Remus’ first season as the assistant producer and he was desperate to prove himself worthy enough to carry this out to the end. Last year, he didn’t travel to the actual island and was left behind in London at the studio, mostly being in charge of the social media. In the end, he wasn’t even credited for doing it, so this right now was his time to shine! Remus is accosted by a vampire on his way home. Strange in itself. But when the vampire realises he has anaemia, he starts bringing him food. And medication. And nice little treats to make him feel better.

His attention is snagged by the band again as the opening riffs to Van Halen’s Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love start to play. He’s immediately arrested by the band, who eat the instrumentals up. He’s still put off by the lead singer, but he doesn’t even care as his gaze is drawn back to the bassist immediately. He’s older, in his thirties at least, but it doesn’t take away from how arresting he is.
Marlene follows Sirius’ gaze to the band and does a double-take. “Holy shit,” she says, grabbing Sirius’ arm. “Babe, that’s my Lit professor!”
