Summary
Rosta and Styrbjorn take their sons to visit the Stag Clan for talks of an alliance, but a sudden attack by Kjotve orphans the stag clan’s only heir and almost does the same to the Wolf Clan.
Now a desperate and grief stricken Varin breaks tradition to betroth his son to Sigurd instead. Hoping to create an alliance strong enough to finally defeat Kjotve and bring justice to the fallen.
Sigurd looks at his bandaged, best-friend-turned-betrothed, and at the angry tear streaked face of his new sister, and wonders what the future could possible hold for them all.

“I suppose you’ve made your case, Shall we?” Otto asked, gesturing to the city.
“Do you mind if I ride you down? No webs.” Peter asked innocently. At Otto’s cough and sputter Peter realized the double meaning of his question and backtracked.
“I MEAN, NOT Like, Not ride you as in RIDE you, like in a sexual way! I just meant like, in your arms! Or straddling, AH – Fuck it, I’m gonna stop talking.” Peter’s face was beat red, it felt like the tips of his ears were on fire and Otto was laughing at the absurdity of it all.
“No worries, dear boy, no need to be embarrassed, mine was the one in the gutter, I should be ashamed.” He laughed, clapping peter on the shoulder. It did nothing to quell Peter’s chronic embarrassment.
