“You didn’t exactly keep your hands to yourself,” Viktor teased.
Jayce tugged his hair for his insolence, drawing a punched out moan as he forced his head back and exposed more of his neck. “You live to torment me.”
He ground down on Jayce’s erection again, making him whine into his throat. “You wouldn’t- ahh— Wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Viktor realises that Jayce has a thing for seeing him wear the House Talis colours.

After a moment, Jayce says, “How do you know that guy?”
“Dorian?” Viktor looks up and shrugs. “I met him when we were both students at the Academy. We have remained friends since. We occasionally meet up for intercourse.”
Jayce huffs a breath of a laugh. “I, uh, don’t think you’re using that term correctly.”
“Am I not?” Viktor frowns. “What I mean is, we have sex.”
“You what?”
“Surely I am not using that term incor—”
“You’re fucking that guy?”
Viktor quirks an eyebrow. “Not at the moment.”
When Viktor's friend and occasional lover visits the lab, Jayce becomes irritable and snappish. Viktor tries to determine what's bothering him, but everything he says seems to make it worse.

Jayce’s eyes snap to him, and Viktor almost gasps. There’s something wrong. Well, obviously, your lab partner’s just been regurgitated from a roiling ball of energy with a beard and a massive fuck-off hammer, thank you for the observation, Viktor - but there’s something wrong with Jayce, with his eyes. He looks crazed. He looks horrified, and all the more horrified the longer he stares.
“No,” Jayce breathes. He staggers forward, catching himself with his hammer. “No. No, no, no, it can’t be you. He didn’t mean- no.”
Viktor holds out a hand like he’s soothing a feral cat. “Are you alright? I can help you. Just- just let me stand.”
He picks up his cane, leveraging himself from the ground. Jayce keeps trembling.
“Not you, that’s not- that’s not what he said, not you, I can’t kill you.”

Jayce is sent back to a time before it all fell apart.
