Summary
When they really think about it, Belle and Lycaon haven't known each other that long. Fate and time are both funny that way. In their short time together, they’ve gone from business associates to personal friends to lovers and mates. The change in their relationship happened so quickly that they only realized afterward just how much they didn’t know about each other. They still both have secrets, both personal and professional, and they each have a complicated past that inevitably starts to bleed into their evolving relationship.
Belle doesn't have a thiren's instincts. Lycaon doesn't hold a strong attachment to human emotions. Despite that, their devotion grows with every new thing they discover. It’s the small moments and the major events alike. Even now, they wonder at the how and why, out of all the people in the world, they managed to find their forever in each other.
A series of short fics set after the events of Parts 1 and 2 of my It's All Fun and Commissions series. Also now includes Prologue: On That Day to keep the other series more numerically correct for what I have planned.

“Y-you’re not angry?” Corin asks. Her voice is trembling.
“No," Ellen says, almost frustrated. And then she asks the million-Denny question; “Corin. Why would I be?”
Corin stares at Ellen for a long while. Her mouth opens and closes several times, and she has the audacity to look even more confused than Ellen feels. “B-because I...I talked t-to someone I s-shouldn’t have?”
Ellen glances over at the girl standing in front of Richard’s Teamilk. Then she looks back.
“Corin,” Ellen says slowly. “You...know you’re allowed to talk to people outside of work, right?”
