    It’s a sleepless night when Bucky hears a loud bang in the apartment above him. He tells himself he is going upstairs to make sure no one is breaking in, not that he is worried for his neighbor. He pushes away the thought of hoping someone would break in, just so he can get into a fight to tire him out.

    Reaching his neighbors door, Bucky knocks softly. He doesn’t want to disturb anyone. He listens intently, trying to filter out any noise not coming from the apartment. He knocks again, louder this time, wondering if he made the sound up. He hears another loud thud, followed by a groan that sounded a lot like someone was in pain. Without a second thought, Bucky steps back and kicks the door open. He stumbles into his neighbor's apartment and is almost shocked by what he finds.

    Bucky Barnes finds a Very Injured Peter Parker. Surprise!!! Peter, you have a dad now!!! Let's just hope the whole "erasing peter parker from everyone's memory" stunt doesn't stir up too many bad memories for the super soldier...

    Bucky and Sam are kidnapped by some crazy doctors who want the Winter Soldier back. Sam hasn't talked to Bucky in over a year, but Bucky doesn't seem to care about that and complies with the doctor's orders to keep Sam safe. The Thunderbolts will be there soon, he just needs to stay alive until they get there. At least he has Sam to comfort him.

    “Hey Peter, what about this one? It has all the colors you--Peter?” Bucky whipped around. Peter, who had been standing right there a second ago looking at ties was missing.

    Bucky ran through the mental rolodex of four letter words he wasn’t allowed to say out loud around Tony’s son as he looked around the displays, dropping low to find all the places a too-smart-for-his-own-good four year old might be hiding. “Peter, come out if you’re hiding,” Bucky raised his voice to carry across the aisle to the racks of dress shirts. “C’mon Petey, now is not the time for hide and seek.”

    Bucky takes Peter out Christmas Shopping and loses sight of him. After finding him with a salesperson and needing to prove he wasn't a Kidnapper, Bucky and Peter have a heart to heart.
