Summary
Copia hasn't been handling the pressure of being Papa Emeritus IV well. He's been getting worse, both mentally and physically, ever since he got promoted. He thinks he's doing a good job hiding it, but one of the Nameless Ghouls has noticed something's off. As the pressure keeps increasing, he can keep trying to hide how much he's struggling, but eventually he won't be able to pretend everything is fine.
I will be including Swiss in this fic, but considering the recent allegations against Jutty Taylor at a Drag Talk concert earlier this year, I feel the need to explicitly that if the allegations are true I do not condone his actions in any way, this fic mentions the character he plays onstage and the character alone, and ALWAYS support victims.

Summary
Suddenly, the mist dissipated, dropping to curl its way along the floor to join the smoke from the now extinguished candles. In its place was a figure. A ghoul, curled in on itself, spaded tail limp on the floor next to it. It lay still, and it took longer than it should have for anyone to notice the shallow rise and fall of its chest. Next to Perpetua the ghouls peered forward, their concern visible. Something was wrong. There was rarely a time when a summon wouldn’t immediately attempt to either fight or intimidate its summoners, or flee back into the pits, made impossible by the fact there was no way to return without another spell. They never turned up like the one now laying before them.
“Is it dead?”

A new ghoul is summoned by Perpetua, but from the moment the unconscious ghoul arrives something is wrong. The new summon is withdrawn, hesitant to bond with anyone at all. Stoic and silent, the newcomer keeps their distance until a tragedy sends the ministry spiralling into a panic and the ghoul is confronted with a situation they don't know how to handle.

Having recently taken the position of Papa, Secondo had been urged by the Clergy to choose a personal Cardinal assistant. There was no one he wanted to spend that much time around, however, and so he had yet to choose one.

Summary
One of the constants in Soap and Ghost's relationship was that Ghost always topped. Giving up control was not something that came easily to the lieutenant, and Soap was happy to do whatever made him most comfortable.
But when Ghost admits he wants to try to be the bottom, Johnny is more than willing to comply.

Priest!James and Trans!Remus, Birthday Present Fic, expect the tags "abuse of a confessional booth" and "they did what on that altar?" to pop up in later chapters.. as for the angst in these first three.. it's the lead up to copious amounts of smut, some difficult decisions, and an overall happy ending!
