Summary
I've never crushed on Mace Windu. One, he's way too serious and stoic. Two, Samuel L. Jackson is a lot older than me, and I've just never found him attractive in that way. I mean do I want him on my zombie apocalypse team? yes. But is he a DILF? no. (Sorry Sam, I like you as a friend. I can tell you're heartbroken. ) However, one of my nerd friends was joking about how funny it would be if Mace Windu ended up in a normal healthy relationship. And I thought, yes, that would be hysterical.
So this is only slightly self-indulgent because I would much rather write it for a character I love. Nevertheless, the main character is the Jedi Temple's head legal counsel, because every major organization has a legal department. And every legal department has that one attorney everyone fears. Plus, I hate researching, and this is the profession I know.
It was also fun for me to write from the viewpoint of a confident professional woman. Because if I knew a hard ass like Mace Windu had a "secret crush" on me, I would torture the living shit out of him.Series
