The room was dark. All Jason could tell about the lady who had entered his room was that she had long, dark hair.
"Hello, Jason," She said softly, and why did that voice sound familiar to him? "I'm glad to see you're finally awake."
She struck a match, lighting an old lamp of some sort. It brightened up the room enough for Jason to make out her features. Had he not been so restrained by quilts and his own unfamiliar body, he likely would have fallen out of bed trying to get away.

The forest was in view. If Tim could have gone faster and held the car on the road, he would have. The road had narrowed and started to curve around the trees. At best, they barely had a minute and a half. Preferably, the car could be in the middle of the forest when it blew, but at this point, Tim wasn't going to be picky, just so long as it wouldn't cause any civilian casualties.
Kon saw it before Tim did. There was a tree across the road.
"WATCH OUT!" He screamed.
