Eclipse was kidnapped, and Sun, Moon, and Lunar worked together to try to find and rescue them, facing challenges and obstacles along the way.

Summary
The book chronicles the epic rivalry between Sol, the flamboyant Sun, and Luna, the composed Moon, as they alleviate cosmic boredom with an escalating series of pranks. What begins with subtly rearranging constellations and minor adjustments to UV light rapidly spirals into interstellar chaos. Luna orchestrates global compass reversals and weaponizes ocean tides into interpretive dance flash mobs, while Sol projects unflattering selfies onto the lunar surface and orchestrates a 72-hour 'eternal sunset'. The war reaches a hilarious, unhinged crescendo when Luna makes the entire universe smell faintly of wet dog, forcing a truce that leaves humanity profoundly confused but the cosmos at peace once more.

Summary
Moon is a fierce, deep-ocean siren captured after a severe injury and taken to a human rehabilitation center. There, he clashes with Sun, a naive, cheerful siren raised in captivity who only speaks English. Moon views Sun with contempt as a "pet," focusing on his own recovery so he can return to the wild.
After his release, Moon is free, but the center is later robbed. Sun bravely frees the other animals but is easily overwhelmed by the real ocean's powerful currents and gets lost at sea.
