Summary
The Proposal/Spirk crossover that popped into my head one day and refused to leave me alone!
For those of you who haven't seen The Proposal (it's hilarious and I highly recommend it):
Spock is threatened with deportation back to Vulcan. In order to remain on Earth, he forces Jim into a fake engagement to get a marriage Visa. As they visit Jim's family over the holidays, they try and sell their fake engagement and hilarity, angst, and realization of feelings ensue.

“Good boy sweater?” Ben asked, his eyebrow shooting up in question.
“Mmhm,” she said, beaming up at him, moving one hand into his hair, “it’s the sweater you were wearing when you decided to stop fighting the light.” She placed a kiss near his mouth, “When you came for me in my most desperate time of need,” she moved to kiss his cheek, “risking your life to be by my side,” she placed another kiss on his nose, “to face down the most dangerous being in the galaxy,” she placed a kiss on his other cheek, “with only a blaster in hand,” she finished with a passionate kiss on his lips. Ben pushed into her, holding her just a little tighter and deepening the kiss, only breaking away after several long seconds.
“If only I had realized sooner what being a ‘good boy’ could bring me,” he winked.

Summary
While on medical leave after his miraculous recovery, Jim is plagued with dreams -- dreams of another James T. Kirk, the one from the same alternate reality that the other Spock hails from. At first, Jim's dreams are dismissed as a psychological symptom of his latest trauma, but when he starts talking about a place called the Nexus, the answer no longer seems so cut-and-dried. But disturbing dreams aren't the only thing Jim's struggling with -- there's Starfleet's concern over his mental stability, the repairs of his beloved ship and the little matter of the fact that his First Officer seems to be intent on ignoring him.

Summary
The one night stand Jim Kirk has with the Vulcan passing through Riverside is a welcome break from the monotony. It's good, very good, but so fucking weird Jim's sure he's never gonna forget it. He's not quite expecting to run into Spock again in San Francisco. A second one night stand turns into a weekend, turns into a lot of weekends, turns into Bones joking that he's living half his week at Spock's apartment.
But! But, and this is very important: they're not dating.
What also turns out to be important is Spock's job, which Jim never bothered getting the details of. Starfleet Officer and a bartender-slash-bouncer? That's fine. Starfleet Academy Instructor and cadet? ...Less fine.

Summary
